Here’s a really interesting and clear set of videos all about screening for those of you who want to learn more than is in these pages. Produced by the NHS Public Health Action Support Team. You’ll need to allocate some time to watch the videos and take it all in but worth it if you’re interested in a more detailed explanation.

Hi Julie – good point! I thought I’d added the link but I didn’t!! I think these videos are interesting for those who want to know more. Some women don’t want to know too much but our project, as you know, also showed that other women have lots of questions and want to know all the details. Rather than filling up the info sections with lots and lots of detail I thought I’d just post a link here. Only for those who have lots of time… http://www.healthknowledge.org.uk/interactive-learning/screening

Sorry for being late in responding! Lovely that you’ve joined us. I hope you’ll find it useful. Can I ask, are you a practitioner or a member of the public?
