Hey all, I’m trying to set up an evening event aimed at GPs to educate and promote our breast service. I’m just wondering for those who have done a similar thing, if you have any hints, tips, good topics, not so good topics. Im needing to almost create a business case of what I will be doing, how I will be doing it and to what benefit it will have to our service. I would love to get the GPs more engaged with us, I want to get a mutual understanding/respect of roles and knowledge. Update of policy and procedure. Ultimately to improve the flow and appropriate care given. Any help and guidance would be amazing, Thanks in advance!

Hi
Last week we (wommen team)were invited speakers at the Breast Primary Care Event aimed at GP’s. This was organised by one of the Radiologist. The topics discussed were as follows:

The day was well recieved by all the GP’s.

Wow, thankyou. That is a fab line up of topics.
We have a similar plan for topics, breast pain being our biggest pain-excuse the very bad pun.
Was this carried out over a day or a jam packed evening?

Thanks so much for your response!
